AN EXCEPTIONAL KARPEN MFG. CARVED AND PARCEL GILT ART NOUVEAU PARLOR SUITE, LATE 19TH CENTURY. Comprising a settee, armchair and side chair, each finely carved with a pierced openwork design of scrolling lilies and interlocking supports with extending curved armrests terminating in floral lily buds raised on carved cabriole legs. Later tapestry weave upholstery. Original finish throughout with medium light wear. The largest height 39.5 inches (100.3 cm), width 48 inches (121.9 cm), depth 22 inches (55.8 cm).
