A RUSSIAN ICON OF THE TRANSFIGURATION CIRCA 1800. Here the Apostles Peter, James and John look on in awe as Christ, between the Prophets Elijah and Moses is Transfigured on Mount Tabor as recorded in Matthew 17:1-9 and elsewhere. 12.5 inches x 10.25 inches (31.5 x 26 cm).
