Suspension loop hallmarked St. Petersburg, circa 1870, stamped 56 (14kt.gold standard) and indistinguishable Cyrillic makers mark. Together with original issuance box. 36 x 36mm. A SCARCE CASED IMPERIAL RUSSIAN GOLD & ENAMEL CROSS, STAR & SASH OF THE ORDER OF ST. ANNE 1st CLASS, EDUARD, ST. PETERSBURG, 1908-1917. Verso of silver-gilt and enameled breast star with large folding flat pin and hallmarked St. Petersburg circa 1908-1917, 84 silver standard and in Cyrillic ЗДУАРД and the initials ВД for Vladimir Dinakov (see Postnikova-Loseva #1242 and 1440). The center of the breast star with translucent red enamel on a stippled gilt ground encircled by a similarly enameled border set with the abbreviated motto of the Order, AMAN•JUST•PIET•FID for Amantibus Justitiam, Pietatem, Fidem (To Those who love justice, piety and fidelity). The loop of the gold and enameled cross hallmarked St. Petersburg 1908-1917 and with 56 (14k) gold standard and also marked beneath the translucent enamel ЗДУАРД and ВД. Together with original red leather covered custom fitted issuance box with silk and felt lining and compartment containing 26 inch (66cm) sash remnant and bow. The lid of box with gilt impressed Imperial double headed eagle and name of the enclosed Order. Star 3.5 inches (9.4cm) Cross 2.25 inches (5.2cm).

A SCARCE CASED IMPERIAL RUSSIAN GOLD & ENAMEL CROSS, STAR & SASH OF THE ORDER OF ST. STANISLAS 2nd CLASS, WITH ORIGINAL WARRANT, KEIBEL, ST. PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1895. Verso of the silver-gilt and enameled breast star with large folding flat pin, both hallmarked St. Petersburg, circa 1895, and 84 silver standard. Also stamped Keibel beneath the Imperial Warrant, 91mm. The loop of the gold and enameled cross stamped 56 (14kt. gold standard) and verso of cross with makers initials in Latin IK (Julius Keibel) beneath the Imperial Warrant, 65mm. Together with original issuance case containing sash and neck ribbon. Also with original warrant issued to the Danish Chief of Foreign Ministry 'Krag', signed and dated 20 June 1895.

AN RARE IMPERIAL RUSSIAN AWARD PORTRAIT MINIATURE PENDANT WITH DIAMONDS & CROWN, PERIOD OF ALEXANDER III, JOSEPH HOFFERT. A finely painted oval miniature of Tsar Alexander III dressed in full military attire wearing the sash of the Order of St. Andrew the First Called, the Order of St. George suspended from the neck as well as a variety of other orders and medals, signed in Cyrillic I. GOFFERT for Joseph Kasimirovich Hoffert (1826-1906).Contained in a gilt oval frame with beveled glass and encircled with miniature diamonds suspended from a translucent and cloisonné enameled crown and contained in original issuance box, presumably silver and gold but apparently unmarked. Length 75mm.

The slightly curved polished fullered blade profusely engraved with military trophies and the cipher of Alexander III and Imperial double headed eagle with gilt highlights. Ricasso with maker mark of J.E. Bleckmann-Solingen. Gilt hilt with D guard and pierced quillon engraved For Bravery. Langet mounted with red enameled badge of the Order of St. Anne. Grooved grip with ornately engraved pommel displaying the cipher of Alexander III beneath the Imperial Crown. Overall length 36 inches (91.5cm) Lacking scabbard.

Comprising 10 miniature silver and enamel medals mounted on a saber including the Order of St Vladimir with swords, the Order of St. Stanislas with Swords, the Order of Bath, the Order of St. Michael and St. George, the Legion of Honor, the Belgium Order of St. Leopold, the Greek Order of the Redeemer, the Romanian Order of the Star with swords, the Egyptian order of the Nile and the Polish Order of Virtuti Militari. The sword with indistinguishable hallmark perhaps St. Petersburg, 84 silver standard and Imperial Warrant (Double Headed Eagle). Contained in a maroon leather covered silk-lined case. Length 6 inches (15.5 cm).

Comprising 12 mounted miniature medals including the British Military Cross, as awarded to Captain the Marquis Vivien De Chateaubrun (1896-1975). Also the British Military Cross, British WWI Service and Victory medal, British WWII service and defense medals, the Imperial Russian Order of St. Vladimir with swords, the Order of St. Anne, the Order of St. Stanislas, the Poltava medal, the Borodino medal, the Romanoff medal and the Croix de Guerre. Together with photocopies related to De Chateaubrun’s service and awards including a copy of the award document for the Military Cross dated January 17, 1919, general headquarters, Northern Russian Expeditionary Force.
